As a RIB Collar Designer, Paul Tilley has over 25 years experience in the rigid hull inflatable boat market. He has designed and built RIB Collars for the full range of boat hull designs. The bulk of our RIB Collar Designs are for new leisure RIB boat builders and replacement RIB Collars for the used boat market. As one of the UK’s top RIB Tube designers, Paul Tilley is asked to design some very special RIB Tubes. The photograph here is of a 120mph RIB Catamaran ( RIBCat ). Tilley Inflatable Design & Engineering Ltd ( TIDEL ) custom design and build inflatable collars and tubes for many marine applications. These may take any form including booms, flotation collars for rafts, pontoons or platforms. Inflatable Collars for lifting anchorage blocks or special permanent fendering. Also inflatable fenders, inflatable buoys and racing marks including giant spherical racing marks with advertising logos. We use Hypalon materials throughout which is highly resistant to chemicals including petro chemicals and is also abrasion and UV resistant.
